Kilroot Business Park sits immediately beside the EPUKI-owned Kilroot Power Station and the proposed Kilroot Energy Park.

The power station has undergone major investment as part of Northern Ireland's transition towards a lower-carbon electricity system, while the wider Energy Park vision includes future energy technologies, battery storage, hydrogen, renewable generation and other strategic infrastructure.

Being located alongside one of Northern Ireland's most important energy developments places Kilroot Business Park at the centre of future investment in the region's energy infrastructure.

Kilroot Business Park is also adjacent to the proposed LirIC (Larne Interconnector) project being developed by Transmission Investment.

The proposed electricity interconnector will connect Northern Ireland directly with Scotland's transmission network, enhancing security of supply and increasing electricity transfer capacity between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The planned connection is to the Kilroot 275kV substation immediately adjacent to the business park.

This strategic infrastructure further reinforces Kilroot's position within Northern Ireland's long-term energy network.

Sustainability is already part of everyday operations at Kilroot Business Park.

Our recently installed and commissioned 1MW on-site solar farm now supplies approximately 13% of our tenants' electricity requirements, reducing carbon emissions while supporting more sustainable business operations.
